On today’s throwback review, we are going to look at one of the songs that gave goose-bumps back in the days. Years back, three guys, Shifi, Tunde, and Zeal who formed the crew Styl-plus gave us a massive hit from their first album. Olufunmi gained both local and international airplay. Olufunmi was and is still a classic. let’s refresh our ears
whenever there was a party in the early 2000's this song was definitely going to be played. This love song never just seem to fade, the lyrics, the emotions, the vocals and the instrumental is so on point. Sunky and mekoyo did a good one on the instrumental. The song is an expression of someone pleading for a lover (Olufunmi) to stay.
Olufunmi has a story in the song which was well depicted in the video. Styl-plus used both English and Yoruba, making the song original and peculiar to us.
