An afro-pop record
2
RhymeBamz made a groovy RnB-infused Afro-pop instrumental. He played RnB chord progressions on an Afro-pop drum pattern. Skiibii and Reekado Banks went back and forth with their delivery, establishing their smooth chemistry with nice melody choices and smooth bounce. The overall production was good and the vocals were clear and audible enough.
This is another case of a snoozefest. There are cases of a smooth blend of Afro-pop and RnB, but this wasn't it. The idea was nice, but they did it all wrong from the plot to the execution. It had a really awkward structure that felt like it was sharpishly done. They just wanted to get another record out there and hope that it flies.
Soundstroke does not recommend. You're probably going to skip it yourself before it hits 1:00.
