SONIC EXPERIENCE!
“Wo! Oya wan lenu bi mo se ba debi,

Tori mo ni shokoto kan pelu top kan,

So many difficulties just to book a section,
nkan t’oju mi ti ri, Oloun melo ni mo fe so
Three square meal (?)
Chiamaka wa, ki lon wa ka,
when I no get shebi you Dey oppress with your baka”
To be honest, after reviewing this song, our respect for Zlatan increased. Now it’s not like has sung anything groundbreaking, it is just that he has really upgraded his game compared to the last time. Zlatan may have joined the list of few Yoruba Elite rappers like Da Grin, Reminisce and Olamide. But then again he needs to be consistent to earn the right to be with them.
As the song progressed, we started enjoying the melody of the song. To be honest this is the best rap we have ever heard from Zlatan. He did well to harmonise his part with the song.
The lyrics of the song obviously talks about a girl, when they were hustling and when they got turned down by girls they liked. However, after their musical success, those girls wanted them back.
The vocals in the song were clear and concise, we did hear some elements of passion in Zlatan's vocals while rapping and as usual Davido was filled with it.
A rather boring intro for a song of this manner. It just did not go well with the melody of the song. It made the song sound disconnected from the very beginning which is kind of bad, especially for persons listening to the song for the first time.
For us, this is an upgrade for Zlatan, he is not there yet but we feel he is closer. We can only hope he is consistent.
The song is not a bad song and we recommend it for your listening pleasure for a couple of times.
very well but please, it is disrespectful to place reminisce and olamide with zlatan. He hasn’t even smelt it yet. Thank you.
Not a banger, next!!!
