TUC made a simple dancehall riddim with afro bounce and a sampled melody of Eve's 2001 hit single, 'Let Me Blow Your Mind.' I guess that's why the record was called 'Eve Bounce.' The instrumental was smooth and groovy and it definitely brought both Yung L and Wiz into their element because they both delivered perfectly. Yung L delivered a soulfully distilled performance as he interpolates Mario's 'Let Me Love You' on the hook. Wizkid also delivered a short but good verse.
There's something about this song that makes it a one-time listen. There's wasn't any oomph or major climatic point I could hold on too that would make me repeat the song. It just felt interesting and boring at the same time. Maybe the 808 sound was the only thing drawing me back.
