A sensual Afro-pop song
2
There has been a lot of controversy between Ycee and his former label boss, Tinny. After Ycee release the tracklist of his album (YceeVsZaheer) under his new imprint (ANBT), Tinny decided to drop (or should I say leak) some of the songs. Well, Ycee fans are not having it, as they rally on social media saying no one should stream or download any song off the album except Ycee releases it.
In the midst of all this, Ycee decided to tease us with 3 new singles off the album. Wahala Dey is and afro-pop record produced by J.Bidz and BallerTosh.
Ycee came through on this one, unlike his last two songs. Ycee's vocals were clear and raspy. Ycee sang about late-night vibes with his lady and you could feel it in his voice. His emotional resonance matched the feeling of the song. Lyrically, the song hit the nail on the head. Ycee did not beat around the bush about what he wanted to do with his lady.
We've heard this song countless times from Ycee. Ycee seemed lazy making this song. No new idea, no new innovation, nothing. The instrumental was so shallow. There was no distinct thing going on at all. It just sounded so plain.
You could definitely add this to your sex playlist.
