An afro-pop record

Ycee releases the visuals for a single off his album titled, Vacancy. The afro-pop record was produced by Yung Willis.

Listen below:

Positives

Willis made a groovy yet smooth instrumental, blending bass guitar riffs and xylophone-like synth with bouncy afro-pop drum patterns. Ycee laid his usual calm vocals and monotonous melodies with his unique raspy voice.

Negatives

The song was somewhat boring and you wouldn't want to repeat it. There wasn't anything climactic in the song. There were some parts where he went off-key and it sounded shambolic. Maybe, just maybe Ycee should have rapped on this one. The vocals sounded like a rough mix. It sounded un-even and unbalanced.
