Traditional Nigerian singers, Prince Okpuozor Obiligbo and Prince Akunwafor Obiligbo Umu Oblilgbo professionally known as Umu Obiligbo recently released a track which they titled ” Uto Uwa’. Here is what we think of this track.

Positives

This piece of art is original to the African society, it has that original feel in it. The 115bpm instrumental as beautifully crafted by SolshyneBeatz has all the essential elements of traditional Igbo music. The vocal delivery is mature and above average and is well organized. 'Uto uwa' When tarnsalted means 'the taste of the world'

Negatives

Many listeners who don't understand the Igbo language may not be encouraged to put this track on repeat. The track is not fully original as it samples some Old Igbo traditional music from the 70's.
