Plot Synopsis

An Afro-beat Record

Verses

2

With ‘Dangerous love‘ still topping charts, one of Africa’s finest female vocalist, Tiwa Savage comes through with another single, this one she titled, ‘Koroba’

Positives

Tiwa always delivers her best in her music, her vocal artistry and lines are always clear and unique, with top north production from London, Tiwa vocals was all that was needed for the music to be complete, the song started with an African tune played with a whistle like an instrument, regular Afro-beat drum sequence, simple major chord progressions, a wah guitar and vocals from Tiwa Savage. The Afro-beat record is simple, regular, a record everyone can get dance to, with easy to remember lyrics, Tiwa tells us she is all about the enjoyment.

Negatives

This is still the same cliche sound in the industry, Tiwa savage just sang on a ready-made industry preset, there was less creativity in the process of this record, 'Koroba' sounds like a freestyle.
