Plot Synopsis

An Afro-house record

Verses

‘Gbewa’ is the first track off the newly released ep from the Sarz Academy. The track features the queen of Afro-house, Niniola, and The Sarz academy graduate, ‘Dunnie’.

Positives

Niniola and Sarz combination has never been boring, but there was a little addition to the table, The Sarz academy graduate Dunnie was brought to the table, as each of the producers was paired with a various artist to work with, Dunnie under the guardian of Sarz was paired with Niniola as she inputted her ideas on the instrumental. The mid-tempo instrumental began with regular Afro-drum sequence, soft melodies playing, simple major chords, and vocals from Niniola. The structure and vocal artistry of this record are above average.

Negatives

'Gbewa' sounds like the regular Niniola track, nothing new or exciting, as simple as this record sounds, the lyrics, melodies and structure as a whole was very predictable.
