An Afro-pop record

‘Waje’ happens to be the fifth rack off The Sarz Academy’s debut ep ‘Memories that last forever’. The track features Sarz, Dapo Tubuma, Horsh, and P-Prime.

Positives

The Sarz academy came through with a very catchy instrumental which would naturally make listeners move their body, the record has that Afro-beat electro melody in it, and with every good instrumental, good vocal artistry is needed, well the vocal delivery o this one wast quite top-notch but was okay-ish, easy to vibe and relate to. The record began with electro melody, regular African shakers, vocals from the artist, and regular Afro-drum sequence.

Negatives

Aside from cliche/poor lyrics, this record sounds very shallow, the vocal artistry on this record was not impressive at all, it sounds like what any up-coming any artist can put together.
