Review: Teyana Taylor – Killa (feat. Davido)

The increasing number of international artists jumping on the Afrobeats wave is evident in the number of Afro-infused international songs that have come out this year. African music is steadily growing on the world now. 'Afrobeats to the world' is really a thing. Teyana Taylor is the latest to jump on that wave as she drops an Afro-RnB record that features our very own Davido. The instrumental was made by MIXX and Tune Da Rula as they blended RnB sounds with Afro drum patterns. Teyana Taylor came with her smooth and unique delivery, hitting RnB notes while trying to bounce on the Afro drums. Davido's verse was the highlight of the song. He owned the song with that scintillating verse. The overall production was great and the vocals were well mixed.
