Right from the beginning of this song we started moving, we really don’t know why, especially as SONIC was previously in a bad mood. Solidstar opens his year with a potential jam of a song. He did find a way to link it to his previous song.
We absolutely love the intro of the song, the background voices shouting, the instrumentals playing and Solidstar's vocal intro. It gave us a feeling of what to expect from the song as a whole.
Solidstar's vocal rendition was fantastic. He was able to portray some expressive emotions in the song and the mixing of the song did not affect the vocals of the song.
The melody of the song is great, it is a fast-paced mid-tempo song that an get you really dancing. We found ourselves bursting out our Zanku moves. We liked the way the melody of the song is in synchrony with the rhythm of the song. It gives the song a really impressive harmony and an overall awesome sound.
The instrumentals were perfect throughout. A good blend of different instrumentals to produce an expressive music experience. The mixing itself was great, the instrumentals were not overly loud and even though they were great, they still acted as a support to the melody of the song without drawing too much attention.
This is a dance and potentially a club song so do not expect any lyrical depth from the song. However, it is obvious that he is singing about a girl. The problem though is we do not know what he is trying to tell s about the girl.
The song is just too nice not to have a video. A video will do well to tell us a better story about the message he is trying to pass across and it will make the song more popular. Seeing that Solidstar needs just about as much as he can get done to make sure he is fully back to the limelight as he once enjoyed some years ago.
