The Mosquito crooner and king of the street, Small Doctor is here is with a new record titled, Set Awon?. The Afro-house infused afro-pop record was produced by producer duo, 2TBoyz. Listen below:

Positives

Small Doctor has a knack for creating songs out of nothing. He birthed this song from a street lingua, 'Set Awon.' It's a street slang-adjective used to compare your present status or state with that of someone else.
The fact that Small Doctor created a song from the slang shows creativity and innovativeness.
2TBoyz made their regular bouncy instrumental with almost the same elements as their past works.

Negatives

From the instrumental to the vocal delivery, the song lacked the oomph that should drive a song. The beat was made sharpish with uninspiring melodies and distorted sounds. Small Doctor's vocals were mixed roughly and it sounded like a rough version of what they were trying to put out. The melody choices were not new. It sounded like all the other songs he has sang.

Bottom Line

You probably wouldn't want to play this song, except you are a Small Doctor stan. To be honest, we don't know of any Small Doctor stan. You would definitely be moving to the song in the club though.
