SONIC EXPERIENCE!

“A lo ka ko ayo je ge
Ayo ya be n kage kwe mima eh le
Relax we just dey chill o
Why you con dey do like say you no dey shit eh eh
Baby calm down o baby calm down
Relax your mind e wipe out your frown
Na street we dey you fit do anyhow
Oya chop your chicken with hand ehen
Nobody dey look you for here
You no get problem for the area
Oya dance and laugh as you like, as you feel
Slimcase get your back for real”

Slimcase seems to be really working hard and pushing to ensure his musical career is a success. He releases his new track and this one is filled with lots of collaborators, from DJ Neptune to Larry Gaga, to Peruzzi and 2Baba himself.

Positives

The song starts in style, precisely some "Santana style". It was a great way to start a song really. We loved it!
2Baba and Peruzzi were the shining light in this song. Slimcase's performance made their look so wonderful, we are glad they were in the song, otherwise, the song itself would have been a disaster and a complete waste of time.

Negatives

You will have to use your discretion to determine what this song is about. Basically, they are talking mostly about AZA (money/bank account), them being the Azaman. You know, they have got a lot of money to spare.
The lyrics to deliver this message are abysmal, especially Slimcase's. It appears he needs to go and learn how to write decent lyrics or he should just hire a writer.
A colleague at our office insists that Slimcase cannot stay for long in the music industry because of his style of music. We believe his style is actually genreless and for him to stand a chance, he needs to reinvent himself.

Bottom Line

Slimcase still has a long way to go and until he is able to cater to a wider audience, he will lose relevance fast.
