“She wanna follow me go town and chop my Suya (and chop my & chop my)
She wanna follow me go house and give me roger (and give me give me)
And she no know say Reeky baby na Casanova (so Reeky baby)”
A new single from Skiibii, everyone remembers him right. In this new song, he did well to feature Reekado Banks. The new collaboration is titled “Sensima”. The song basically talks about girls.
To be honest, when we heardSKiibii had a new song, we didn't expect it to turn out this good. Sorry, Skiibii, we have nothing against you, perhaps the song sounds this good because of the presence of Reewkado Banks. Not that the song is extraordinary, it is just decent enough to listen to for a few times.
The song is introduced to us with an interesting beat and the voice of a female. The song itself started decently. Nothing great but not bad itself.
The lyrics of the song is errm, we will just skip this in the positive section.
The melody is danceable, nothing special, if you listen to it for a while the melody will stick.
The vocals are clear and crisp, straight to the point.
The beat is decent, while it did seem overly too loud as some points in the song.
The song lacks any lyrical depth. Matter of fact, if you do not listen attentively with rapt attention, you will miss what the song is about. The lyrics were just everywhere. They could have done better in this regard.
The melody is not very memorable, we found ourselves getting bored and disengaged from the song.
The song sounds too generic, at some point, the song was starting to sound like Wizkid was in it. The style and the utterances, this is most likely a deliberate decision to try to get the song blow (become a hit)?
The instrumentals while decent were sounding too loud and it felt like the song was just trying to ride on the instrumentals. They could have done a better job instead of giving us the normal instrumentals sound that we are so bored of hearing.
