Big engine is an afro-pop groove with a mid-tempo instrumental of 110bpm produced by Fancybeats. Skiibii tried giving us a jam we can groove to in the club which quite worked well, as fancybeats used lots of African percussions and drum rolls to get our attention.
The song starts with Skiibii saying the word ‘Big engine’, followed by the instrumental and Skiibii vocals leading the way through the song. Skiibii describes himself as a big engine willing to stay as long as possible. At the same time praises the body of a beautiful lady.
The lyrics are very shallow and do not follow accordingly. Skiibii sounded like he didn’t have enough time to prepare before entering the booth. The level of creativity on this track is just too poor. It’s a song that might last for just a few days and then everyone gets tired.
Nothing special or new, a sound we are tired of hearing.
