Plot Synopsis

A groovy Afro-pop record

Verses

2

After the release of Oyoyo featuring Harmonize, OHK Entertainment head-honcho, Skales is here with a new single. He calls this one Samba. The Afro-house record was produced by Jaypizzle.

Positives

Although the guitar riff was somewhat boring, Jaypizzle came through with a nice drum pattern that made the song bouncy and groovy.

Negatives

Samba is actually a very boring song with too many repetitions of one word. Skales didn't do justice to the instrumental at all. His vocals were uneven and harsh. There was a point were Skales tried singing in falsetto and ended up using his nasal voice. Lyrically, the song was in shambles. There was no actual direction, just a bunch of repetition. It was hard to tell the structure of the song because the verse was either too short or the chorus was too long and repetitive. This is just a lazy attempt at creating music.

Bottom Line

I'm sure we are not the only ones that don't expect anything more from Skales anymore. We hope he surprises us one day.
