Nigerian artiste, Skales has been in his bag lately and he has been releasing music for his fans. One of those records is Kowope off his upcoming EP titled, Healing Process. The record features Akon and was produced by Rage Racks.

Read the review below:

Positives

Rage Racks made a sweet blend of Afrobeats and Caribbean sounds. This is a case of Caribbean melodies meeting afro-pop drum patterns. The instrumental was groovy and quite danceable. Skales delivered in his unique style and Akon added a nice verse. The overall production was good and well balanced.

Negatives

The song was boring, period. Skales is still using his 'Shake Body' formula and it had washed out a long time ago. It hasn't worked since 'Shake Body,' and I can't seem to comprehend why he still uses it. The monotonous melody style that with cheesy rhymes that could pass as rap is really just uninteresting at this point. This song was a snoozefest from the beginning to the end and not even a stellar production could save that.
