A nice hip-hop record.

Sinzu decided to give us a new album late last year, months after he was released from jail titled, Better Late Than Never. Zanku Zu is a record from the album that features Zlatan. The record was produced by Czure.

Listen below:

Positives

Czure made a nice afro-hiphop beat with an occurring melody played on a flute synth. The song was nice with Sinzu rapping with great flows, nice vocal cadence, and good rhythm. Zlatan has always been good with features and this was no different. Although his unique energetic adlib was missing, but it shouldn't have to do it every time. The production was okay, the vocals were clear and audible, with some nice adlibs from Sinzu himself that was altered to sound like a kid's voice.

Negatives

The afro-hiphop instrumental Czure made was nice, but it could have been better. A lot of rhythms were flowing around and getting misplaced in the atmosphere of the song. The song lacked that oomph that drives a hit song. There wasn't anything close to a captivating chorus or hook on the song. Sinzu and Zlatan just rapped throughout.

Bottom Line

An okay song in my opinion, but not a great comeback. It definitely needed a chorus.
