A smooth combination of Afro-pop, RnB, and Hip-hop
2
If you're looking a feel-good song to listen to while you're sipping palm-wine on a sunny evening on the beach, here's a record for you. In fact, it serves more than that purpose. You could also groove to it.
Spax and Show Dem Camp's 'Palmwine' sound is one to take note of. They've carved a way of combining Afro-pop, RnB, and Hip-hop and make it sound so soothing to the ears. Spax made a smooth sailing yet groovy instrumental as usual with Jazzy melodies and afro drum pattern. Buju sang a chorus with a sweet and infectious melody that would definitely move you to sing along. Ghost and Tek dropped soft-hard verses that resonated well with the song.
This is one of the best features out there at the moment as the chemistry of everyone on this record gelled. Soundstroke recommends.
