We were just discussing at the office a while back about musical artists we hadn’t heard from in a while and Shizzi’s name popped up a couple of times. In fact, we really pondered where he was and what he had been up to. So you can imagine our excitement at the office when we heard he had a new song. If you are expecting Shizzi to sing please think nothing of it, he is a producer that decided to feature other musicians.
The intro of the song is very much appreciated, it is those kinds of intros that stand out and will keep you engaged from the very beginning.
The melody of the song is really captivating and tuneful, it got us moving along with the song in a subtle but consistent manner.
The vocals of the song were appealing and clear, we could hear most of what Ceeza Mills was singing.
A well tuned and varied beat to compliment the song. The beats got us just as engaged and compelled to keep us listening to the song.
Shizzi featured a relatively unknown upcoming artist in this song. In fact, this is the first time we are hearing about him. Having gone down that line, we expected Shizzi to have his PR team really on the job to ensure this song does not end up wasted. But we have really heard and seen little about this song on social media and radio stations.
The lack of video is another blow for the song, had there been a video for the song, it would have been easier for the song to achieve more reach and popularity seeing that is what both artists really need currently.
