Sheyi Shay is a great singer but for some reasons, it does not feel like she is getting the love she deserves. In this song, she demonstrated her musical prowess.
The song starts with Seyi Shay's trademark "Oluwaloseyi" intro and some other instrumentals.
The lyrics of the song make it clear that it is a love song, the lyrics are not bad at all. Especially because we are surrounded by subpar lyrics in most cases.
We liked the melody of the song, melodic and tuneful to listen to. A rich blend of Kizz Daniel's sound with Seyi's Shay, it was a lovely combination indeed.
The vocals of the song are one of the strong points in the song, it goes without doubt that Seyi Shay has a sonorous voice. Kizz Daniel did well to compliment her also.
We really did like the video of the song, it showed a relatable storyline and this earns it extra brownie points.
For some reasons, it felt like the intro was too busy. We would have simply preferred it was done progressively and not simultaneously. The cramming of so many elements makes an intro that would have been awesome into something average.
