Its n longer news that one of the most talented serial producers, Sarz and award-winning vocalist, Wurld, released an Ep titled ‘I love Girls with Trouble’. After releasing ‘Mad’, a single of the e.p, the due surprised us with the eight tracks ep. Prisona is a track off the e.p, (ILGWT)
The 100bpm instrumental starts with a solo from an African-like instrument with soft major-minor chords and a simple basic drum pattern with Wurld vocals leading us through the song. The song is a soft Afro song with a blend of soul; it is safe to call it Afro-soul. The song describes someone deeply in love with someone, making the person imprisoned to the person.
Wurld employs the use of both English and Yoruba on the song, making it more relatable and African. His vocal delivery on this song is quite above average.
The song doesn’t really have that replay value because it is a borrowed idea from the western world. Many people might find this song quite boring because there nothing exciting as the song progresses.
A song that will probably make you meditate. Deep lyrics beautiful arrangement.
