Ric Hassani showed his versatility on this track which is quite interesting, 'wave' is that unusual track you don't get to hear from regular artists, it is something that would stick to the mind of listeners over time. The mid-tempo club track begins with the wave chorus, simple club drum patterns, and soft melodies with Ric displaying his rap skills. The lyrics, instrumental, and structure are above average.
Tracks like this have a selective audience, making it difficult for it to be popular. Ric Hassani definitely got inspired by football match audience vocals chants, the chorus 'oo wave' would ring a bell on the mind of the audience making it less original.
Wave is an unusual track that would get your attention and definitely grow on you.
