'Angel of my Life' is a song that has always resonated in our hearts for a long time and it is so soothing to hear a revamped version. I'll try not to be biased.
The song didn't lose its original touch, but it had a new school feel to it. The production was mild but solid. It gave room for the vocals to shine. Paul Play still showed that he has it with his scintillating vocals. Nothing changed lyrically or melodically for Paul Play's part. Runtown was the best bet for a feature on this record. He delivered a groovy and melodic verse that was catchy and easy to sing along.
Could this become a hit song? Could this be a comeback for the Afro-RnB king? We'll find out on the next episode of 'The Nigerian Music Shenanigans'.
