SONIC SOUL!

“I can’t explain the reason why I love you
You gat me thinking, feeling why I love you
Girl you make my head go tingaleke tingalaga eh o
If I have my way, everyday wan dey tingaleke tingalaga”

Patoranking does not seem to have any bad song, and this is not because we like him (after all everybody does like him). This more due to his sheer talent, hard work and pure passion. One can tell that he really loves music! This is a love song with a rather abstract.

Positives

Lovely intro from this song. We loved the instrumental that played pleasantly then the subtle voice before Patoranking's "ye ye ye" which was a welcome addition.
The lyrics of the song is straight to the point. The song is a love song, a girl he thinks of everyday. The lyrics are not your normal shoddily written lyrics that we are used to from Nigerian Musicians.
His vocals are out of this world. The intensity, emotions and passion behind it are palpable and these result in an extraordinary performance.
The melody of the song is beautiful. A dancehall classic. It is memorable and tuneful. Something you can listen to at just about any time.
The instrumentals are not bad, Alvaro did a decent job and it did well to compliment the song. In fact, we did not quite notice that the beat was loud. Maybe this was due to the sheer power and quality of Patoranking's performance.
