Plot Synopsis

Afro-pop

As inspired by the A$$ of the winner of the just concluded bbn pepper dem season, Mercy Eke, Musical Taliban, Oritse Femi releases a club vibe which he titled ‘Mercy’

Positives

Oritse Femi gives us something that we can vibe to in the club as the 115bpm afro-beat instrumental produced by vice Beatz is groovy and will make you tap your feet. The instrumental starts with a solo from a sax-like instrument followed by the drums and Oritse Femi vocals following. The song apprises the body of a lady. The vocal for the chorus was pitched to achieve the chimp monk vocal effect which made it interesting.

Negatives

As usual, meaningless and inconsistent lyrics. The song is a sex appeal that some find offensive. This song will be played only in clubs or parties. Oritse Femi was not very creative on this track, as it sounds like what we have heard before, nothing new. After a period of weeks or even days, we might all get tired.
