Ybnl Boss Olamide brings another street jam titled ‘Choco milo’. After the release of his previous of single ‘Pawon’ which gained quite a number of attention, Ybnl boss is not letting this year-end without another street vibe, Choco milo was produced by talented producer, Mercury.
Choco milo........seems Olamide has a bank where he gets his slangs from and a skill of turning street slangs into street vibes. The 119bpm instrumental produced by mercury, has a catchy vibe which of course is essential for the kind of music it is needed for. The instrumental begins with a solo from an instrument with a groovy drum pattern followed by Olamide's vocals on the instrumental. The song apprises girls who rather not take alcohol. The title of the song is derived from the name of a popular product. Could this be a move to be endorsed by them?
As expected, the lyric on this track is below average. The song takes a cue from his previous single 'Pawon', and the repetition of words and lines showed a lack of creativity. This track cannot stand the test of time, after a period of weeks, everyone might probably lose interest.
A song for the clubs, One month hit!
Not my type of song but anyway anyhow, it is Naija, one love. The review is quite true though.
