Niniola drops a new single from Niniola. Niniola sings a rather peculiar genre of music in the Nigerian song, Nost notably folk music and house music. We usually enjoy her unique sound, I mean a fresh breath of air from the usual thing in Nigerian music Industry. This song basically talks about all the designer things she wants.

Positives

A rather unique instrumental played at the beginning of the song and this piqued our curiosity. At least we know that the intro is kind of engaging. You know that kind of intro that wants to make you stick around to listen to the remaining parts of the song.
The audio quality of the song was top notch, we enjoyed every part of her vocal rendition. Not a bad performance really.
"Designer" has a unique melody as is usually the case for Niniola. It did well to create a nice sounding harmony with the rhythm of the song.

Negatives

Do not be expecting any deep meanings in the song, well, except you are searching for untold meanings that Niniola always manages to sneak into her song. except she did not do much sneaking in the last time. She boldly sang it out o her previous song "banana" and she left everything else to our imagination to run rampant, oh dear.

Bottom Line

If you want to unwind from the usual racket and clank sound of Nigerian songs then this really is just the song for you. A piece of nice sounding "house music" with Yoruba influences. If you do not mind the Yoruba part of the song then you may as well go ahead and just download the song, because we really have downloaded it and added it to our own playlist.
