An Afro-house music
2
Niniola never disappoints when it comes to lacing her charming vocals on good instrumentals, she has a skill of bringing out good melodies in a song, the queen of Afro-house got an instrumental from her partner in crime producer, Sarz, their chemistry has always brought about good vibes, 'Addiction' is one of those vibes gotten from their cohesion. The simple Afro-house music has a little mixture of alternate sounds, which made it easier for Nini to flow. The record begins with muffed drums and simple melodies, vocals from Niniola, soft S/African drum sequence sounding like kwaito, and simple melodies. The vocal artistry, structure, and lyrics are above average.
This record sounds like the cliche Afro-house music, nothing new or exciting, this sound may not be addictive after all.
Simple, exciting but definitely not addictive.
I felt like this song does not have a chorus. After the first verse, the prechorus was repetitive throughout the record.
