A groovy hip-hop record

Nigerian rapper and singer, Nappy is back with another trap-infused afro-pop banger titled, Aye. The record features afro-beat superstar, Burna Boy and was produced by CheekyChizzy.

Listen below:

Positives

The song started with a dark melodic synth that depicts old-skool hip-hop. Afro-pop drum pattern of the Zanku style followed through and it made CheekyChizzy seem like a maestro, or maybe he is. The production was A1.
Nappy came through with that trap flow that will make you nod your head. His vocal dexterity is distinctive and had that hip-hop and Yoruba lingua vibe. Burna Boy also did well with surreal melodies and flow, hitting the strong part of the beat with smooth bounces. This song is an all-round bop and groovy track.
