“Cause I dey find your body go Gwagwalada
I go give you all my love kpatakpata
Get up get up get up get up
Let’s make love tonight
Wake up wake up wake up wake up
Gats to do it right”
Oh wow, this is not a collaboration we were able to anticipate, the apparent parallel difference in both Musicians’ styles and genres of music are like mirror images. And, well, they did manage to make an awesome song out of it. At least that was how it sounded when we first listened to the song. Let’s go into a more in-depth review of the song, shall we?
The intro of the song is one of the best parts of the song. We absolutely loved it and it did make us stick around for the remaining parts of the song. It was absolute genius that it was Niniola that actually sang the intro of the song.
Their vocal renditions were creat, especially Niniola's performance. We were not too sure about Mr P's because of the autotune he used for some parts of the song. But then again, he did not sound bad.
The melody of the song is great, the blend of Mr P's Afropop and Niniola almost got us getting Goosebumps, it was a great combo and we loved every part of it.
There were certain innuendoes that were sneaked into the song especially from Niniola. Considering what the song is about, we guess that should have been very much expected.
