An afro-pop record
2
GuiltyBeatz made a simple afro-pop instrumental heavily influenced by its delayed synth sound and infectious snares. The instrumental was soft, smooth, and a little groovy. Both Eazi and King Promise came through with their usual style and delivered their performances. The overall production was okay with good mixing and mastering. The automated delay on the vocals was a big plus on this record, filling up the extra spaces perfectly.
This is definitely a one-listen song. There's nothing about this record that would make you want to listen again. The record was so plain and way below-par for an actual song. No added creativity, no added spice, and no show of innovativeness to an already existing sound template. It sounded like every other Afro pop song out there, 65% of Mr Eazi's song included. The only way this would pass is if it was actually an intro.
