T Classic and his team release a new Afro-pop record titled, Hold On. The record was produced by Yalababayala.
Read the review:
Yalababayala made a smooth yet groovy afro-pop instrumental with a subtle 'pon pon' sound. The soft polyrhythmic drum patterns were accompanied by subtle melody lines from different synths. T Classic delivered a nice performance with his unique vocal dexterity and his raspy voice. The production was okay and the vocals were clear and audible.
After the mild success of his EP, I expected T Classic to go back to his drawing board and get more creative with song creation. This has nothing to do with his past releases, as he has had his fair share of sweet music and hit songs. There's a need for a swift change fro him. Music has gone beyond just releasing songs with the same old pattern. We want to hear innovation! We are looking for new sounds with every release. We definitely did not get it on this record. This is just the same old Afro pop pattern that we've heard from different artistes.
