We actually like the intro of the song. We heard a voice that sounded like Davido's at the very beginning, followed by captivating instrumentals and Mayorkun's vocals.
Mayorkun's vocals were quite clear in the song. we had no issues listening to what he was saying. He was clear and crisp.
The melody of the song is your typical Afropop sound we are used to hearing from Mayorkun. The melody was decent at most and it was not all that fantastic for us. Mostly average.
The instrumentals that play intermittently, perhaps a piano remind sus of a certain P Square song from way back. The song was titled "Special Man" back then. The song successfully invokes the memories and associated emotions with that song.
The lyrics while not horrible could have seen better writing skills. However, this is far from the worst we have ever heard.
A decent song fro Mayorkun but we have honestly listened to better-sounding songs from Mayorkun himself.
