If I tell you say I no chop again, no be by force oh
Abusing me mentally, affecting my melody, distracting my harmony ah, kilode gan gan ni
Your food no Dey sweet me for belle again, your love no dey sweet me for body again
Your food no Dey sweet me for belle again, your love no dey sweet me for body again”
May D is back or just making a cameo appearance on a new collaboration single with Peruzzi. In this song, they insist that it is not by force, the relationship that is.
The song starts with a decent beat followed by Peruzzi. Shortly after, May D takes over.
The song has a nice melody, we will not go as far as saying it is memorable but we do know that it is tuneful and we enjoyed the overall sound of the song even though at some point it began to lose substance.
We could hear just about everything they were singing without any major distortions and that is a good thing. The vocal renditions were not bad either. May D did seem too relaxed and we are not sure that is a good thing, we enjoyed Peruzzi's more passionate performance.
The lyrics of the song is straight to the point, at least for us and we just could not help but wonder the lyrical content. Some of the words are ambiguous, albeit they mean something similar, however, the other meaning treads in the region of sexual innuendos.
This song has largely gone without being noticed by a majority of the people which is a shame. This is probably not the come back that May D envisaged and if only his PR team had worked harder to ensure the better promotion of the song.
