Free your mind is the song you play when you are in your free time or any moment that includes relaxation. Maleek Berry creatively built the local high-life music, gave it that sauce it needed, went head, and laced his vocals on it. His vocal artistry, lyrics, melodies, and structure on this track are above average, 'Free your mind' is that track lot of people would relate to, its simple-complex- down to earth nature might make listeners put it on repeat.
It is is very obvious, this is not MB's forte, he sounded like he was struggling to blend in with the traditional high-life music, the struggle in his voice and him trying to blend with the instrumental killed the sauce. This song could have been done better.
Not exactly impressive, but this is worth three minutes of your time, this could free your mind, jut as the music says.
