Review: Ladipoe -Know You (feat. Simi)

Ladipoe decided to deviate a little from his hard punchline rap he served us for six weeks via his Revival Sunday freestyle. Somi Jones made a smooth sailing dancehall-esque pop instrumental with smooth chord progressions and easy-going drum patterns. Simi came through with her clear and sultry vocals to deliver a smooth chorus and Ladipoe's baritone vocals were an added plus in the chorus. 'Know You' is a song about the restriction of feeling romantic towards a person you barely know. It preaches the boldness of not playing safe and just going for it.
