“I dey live my life jeje jeje
Blessing follow me jaburata
Simple simple were were oh yea
See my people know me a morawa o”
So KOrede Bello decided to out his own blessing song titled “Bless Me” shortly after Reekado Banks released blessings on me. Hmmn coincidence? Well, we are not sure about this. So how do you think both songs compare and which versions would you rather listen to?
The most redeeming quality of Korede Bello is by far his voice. His voice ensures he hits notes other male musicians will definitely struggle to hit. And he put it to decent use on this new song again. While we do feel that Korede Bello is still a little rough around the edges and it will take a lot more than just a pretty voice to call him a meister of vocals, we can say he does have the potentials should he decide to work harder on it.
The melody of the song score a little bit above average in our books, to some extent it was tuneful and expressive.
The song is not your traditional song, it sounds more like something a church choir will sing, perhaps Korede Bello wants to finally convert to a gospel artiste.
The song lacks a video to push it even further. We felt a video would have been perfect for this song. We can imagine a group of people continuously raising up their hands and jumping up while dancing to the song.
