Plot Synopsis

A rich love song.

It would appear the in thing now is to feature dancehall Musicians in a collaboration. Dancehall has now moved from an afterthought to a major genre especially in Nigeria. This is another classic blend of  Afrobeat and dancehall on this new track Loyal. The song also features Major Lazer

Positives

A beautiful blend of afrobeat and dancehall. We enjoyed Kranium's infusion of reggae vibes to the song, there is just something about reggae variations that makes them sound so good these days. The melody of the song was tuneful and well-shaped.
Amidst the beat, Kizz Daniel's vocals were quite clear and crisp with confidence and conviction. It was an appealing performance by him and Kranium really, with a heartfelt dynamic that was put into the song.

Negatives

The video is an interesting one but we felt they could have done better, it was looking like the video was not the highest quality possible. If you are going to stick a name like Major Lazer on a song, you want to go all out to make sure you deliver the best.

This is a good song from Major Lazer, Kizz Daniel and Kranium we are happy to see Kizz Daniel at the end of several collaborations already and we fill like this song is a song we have to listen to several times before determining whether it will be on our playlist, but ultimately, it will make it there.
