KIzz Daniel insists that there are no bad songs in his most recent album. He goes as far as naming the album “No Bad Songz“. Poko is just one of the many songs in the album. It is one thing for a song not to be bad and it is another thing for the song to actually be good let alone great. Join us in our review of the MOG Beatz produced single we find out if it truly is not a bad song.
The song starts with an array of instrumentals playing followed by Kizz Daniel trademark intro sound.
Kizz Daniel's vocals were the usual affair. He came through with his impressive vocal rendition.
We could not help but love the melody of the song during the review. It was actually quite tuneful and memorable. We loved the change in rhythm and the whole overall Afropop sound of the song with a sprinkle of contemporary RNB.
The instrumentals of the song are mostly average. However, even though the beat was average, it did well to support the song itself without drawing much attention to itself.
The lyrics of the song are nothing to write home about. The song, in particular, lacks a convincing storyline. Everything about the song just seemed superficial. The structure of the lyrics was also not all that great.
Poko is actually not a bad song, Kizz Daniel delivering on his promise eh? While this is not a bad song, it is at most just an average song and has nothing special to it,
