Joe Joe Joeboy pon deck! After the success of his last 2 singles, Joeboy is back with a new song titled, Don’t Call Me Back. The sizzling Afro-pop single features Afro-pop superstar, Mayorkun and was produced by Beats by KO.

Positives

Joeboy decided to switch his love-stricken style to a heartbreak plot on a moody beat. The vocal performance from Joeboy and Mayorkun had the perfect emotional resonance for a sadistic, yet revengeful heartbreak song. Lyrically, the song hit the nail on the head about the message they both tried to pass across. The subtle occasional harmony might hit you where it hurt the most if you just got your heartbroken.

Negatives

You wouldn't want to listen to this song if you aren't over your ex yet. The song had a sad, but revengeful mood. The melody of the instrumental portrayed the sad part, but the percussion didn't bring out the revengeful part. The kick was not heavy enough.
