The song started with a pop piano synth followed by Joeboy's raspy vocals. The instrumentation was mild but groovy, so as to allow Joeboy's singing to shine, and it did. Joeboy sang with emotional resonance and it felt like he was in the song. The melody of the song was sweet and catchy. Everyone can sing along.
Joeboy sang about his interest in a lady who has a partner, but the plot was a little confusing. He literally said he doesn't deserve her love because he is all for her and we are trying to understand how this makes sense. Well, as they say, most Nigerians want to move their bodies, plus the melody is sweet. The song had scanty lyrics. Joeboy just repeated a few sentences over and over again throughout the song. We were trying to figure out what part was the verse, but it turns out there isn't.
