SONIC EXPERIENCE!

Imagine our delight when we finally saw a new song with Jhybo’s name attached to it. We have not heard his name on a song since like forever so you can understand our excitement. Well, it turned out that this was not exactly the kind of comeback we had envisaged when we heard he had a new song.

Positives

Small Work, Big Money starts with an array of instrumentals followed by Jhybo's intro.

Negatives

The message of the song is just not coherent enough, while the beginning of the song starts well lyrically encouraging positive affirmations. However, the remaining parts of the song are nothing to write home about lyrically.
The melody of the song hardly sounds tuneful, it was closer to sounding like noise. In fact, nursery rhymes sound better than this song and it was rather annoying. the melody of the song felt like an insult to our ears.

Bottom Line

The song turned out to be a huge letdown and a waste of studio time. It was unable to impress us throughout the song. Lil Frosh was trying too hard to sound like Lil Kesh and even Jhybo was not sounding like himself, he was simply trying to sound like a pseudo-ZLatan and we are really tired of all the Zlatan/Slimcase sounding musicians out there.
