An inspirational song about hustle

SONIC SOUL!
Jyhbo has been more active in the Nigerian Music industry lately. While he may not have reached the height he once attained, he has been at least consistent for a while now (or so it seems). Perhaps his new song, “Bread” that we are currently reviewing is an embodiment of what he has been going through in his music career. He talks about how he needs to go harder to achieve some milestones and so he would have enough to take care of his mother.
Bread starts with a serenade beat with Jyhbo dedicating the song to everyone going through one thing or the other. The intro is actually quite contrasting when compared to the other parts of the song. It is perhaps only the chorus that is slightly comparable to the intro.
The song is filled with so much positive message and we love it! The song talks about how we need to hustle and work hard so we can have enough to go home within literal terms. The plot development of the song is decent, we were able to follow it well.
The vocals of bread are clear and crisp. We had no issues hearing what he as saying. His vocals fitted the theme of the song.
The melody of the song is great, the chorus of the song sounds Afropop while the verses were mostly sung in Hip-Hop. The song is melodious with a decent rhythm. The rhythm and melody of the song combine to produce a nice harmony.
Bread is a highly underrated song. It is sad that this song may not actually get the limelight it deserves and it is better than most songs that are currently being played over the air.
