Plot Synopsis

A highlife record

Talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, Harrysong is here with a new track to end the year. He calls this one Isioma. The highlife record was produced by twinbeatz.

Negatives

The contrasting vibe between Twinbeatz beat and Harrysong's singing was too much, to be honest. If we are being extra honest, in their own form, both elements won't even work on any other counterpart. The singing was boring and the instrumental was a snoozefest. Even the hard beaten percussions couldn't cover the absence of sweet synth melody, or even any melody at all. The unresolved repeated melody didn't even sit well with the drum pattern.
Harrysong would have done himself some good if he had gone his normal 'call & response' route. Maybe, just maybe the song would have been a little better. Harrysong can sing tho and his vocals are as clear as this Friday morning.

Bottom Line

It's as boring as the 'K' in 'Knife' and soundstroke would never recommend a boring song.
