SONIC EXPERIENCE!

“You want goody bag (chacha)
See your goody bag (chacha)
Take my goody bag (chacha)
Better goody bag (chacha)
You are feeling it
Now you’re feeling heat
Everywhere is feeling it
Africa is feeling it
If you want goody bad say,
Oh-oh-oh-oh, sister, brother chacha
Everybody singing, if you want goody bag say,
Oh-oh-oh-oh, sister, brother chacha
Brother Francis enter market (chacha)”

Harry song is back with his second track of the year and he titles this one “Chacha”. Chacha is an Afrobeat-highlife song blended together to give us a rich melody and sound.

Positives

The song starts with a native instrumental playing, later joined by an array of other instrumentals. The intro of the song, especially the singing part sounds somewhat similar to a part of "Reggae Blues".
We enjoyed Harrysong's vocal performance. It was mostly average but hey, it was not bad at least.
The melody of the song is rich, a deep blend of cultural highlife with the more popular Afrobeat. The blend made the song sound all flavours of interesting.
The instrumentals of the song lean towards more of highlife and we really do not mind. The array of instruments blended well producing nice music.

Negatives

We spend long minutes trying to figure out what the song was truly about. We then came to the conclusion that either the song is meaningless, was poorly written or just has some hidden vulgar meanings behind it.

Bottom Line

This is one of the few Highlife songs that does not get boring quickly. While it does not really blow us out of our minds, it did a good job of not boring us to death.
