When we saw Terry G on the name of this tracked of the song, we were curious as to what the song was going to be about, we really should have known, going by the title of the song, weree (mad). It was just not going to be a good song, in fact, it is far from being a decent
The song starts in a rather peculiar way, even though the intro is peculiar, it may actually be the only part of the song that is at least decent.
Weree is an absolute waste of recording time in the video, not only is this song an insult to our intelligence, it actually lacks any meaning whatsoever, it was just a mashup of random words and fast beat.
The melody of the song is horrible, it is a caricature of a song in terms of melody, we just could not get ourselves to enjoy the melody of the song. For most Nigerian songs that lack in terms of lyurics, they manage to make up for it with the melody of the song however, this is not the case with weree.
The song also lacks originality, there was a part that was taken directly from Kelvin's little "Turn me on" and then sounds from Speed Darlington. It's bad enough that Terry G sang free madness up to part 3, essentially the same song with just a little change in rhythm and some words. This is like another free madness song and we do not appreciate it at all.
