Gabriel Afolayan, the man that has chosen to do his thing and ignore the mainstream sound in Nigeria and we love him for that. Cute Bunny is just one of those songs that if you listen to it for the first time on the radio, you would be forgiven if you actually thought the song was sung by one of these Western Musicians.
Cute Bunny starts like a classic tune, we like the instrumentals. It was straight to business really. There was no actual intro.
The song talks about a certain girl he fell love in. He talks about how she is cute like a bunny and the way she makes him feel generally. We like the structure of the lyrics. It does have a decent plot development.
Gabriel Afolayan's vocals were clear and crisp throughout the song. We had no issue listening to.
The melody of the song is interesting and we did enjoy it for a while (before we started getting that is), The song has an old school and blended with Rhythm and Blues sound and we did enjoy it.
Cute Bunny has a rich variety of instrumentals playing with an interesting rhythm. The rhythm combines well with the melody to form a good harmony.
