He is gamed for reportedly having the highest pitch amongst Nigerian Male vocalists. Faze Alone Remix was a hit back in the days! Join us as we go ahead to review this song.
Faze Alone starts with an interesting set of instruments playing. We liked the gentle-low voice Faze used to do the intro of the song.
The lyrics mm of Faze Alone are pretty straightforward. He was basically talking about how The Plantashun Boiz splitted up and how he was so sure he was going to be a success all by himself. We could hear the underlying message in the song. It felt like he was really hurt by the split up. The lyrical structure of the song is as we expected (good). The plot development is very engaging. Faze was able to get us to understand his feelings through the lyrics he used.
Faze's vocals are a paradox. The fact is that his default singing voice is not very high, however, he can tune it up and sing in a very high pitch. His vocal performance was decent.
Faze Alone was sing primarily on Afropop. We found the melody of the song engaging and interesting. It was tuneful and memorable. The song was able to evoke some emotions and memories as we listened to it. The melody and rhythm of the song combines well to form an interesting harmony.
It felt like we had expected the song to be a log more interesting. We were kind of let down but then, that does not mean that the song is a bad song. Far from it, the song is amazing.
Faze Alone was a major hit then and it is unquestionable. The song still got us in the groove after been around for about 15 years. That's impressive seeing how fast-paced the Nigerian music industry is.
